Universal Weighing System Compatibility
EZYweigh connects to virtually any weighing system - concrete or steel weighbridges, axle weighers, platform scales, and hopper systems. Compatible with all major weight indicators and load cell controllers regardless of brand or model. EZYweigh engineers can tailor the software to read any weighing instrument.

Automation Add-Ons
EZYweigh's core software can be extended with a suite of hardware automation add-ons — transforming a standard attended weighbridge into a fully automated, unmanned weighbridge lane. Each add-on integrates directly into the EZYweigh transaction workflow and is supplied and commissioned by the Weigh-More Solutions team.
ANPR Camera System
Automatic Number Plate Recognition cameras read the vehicle's registration plate on arrival, instantly linking the vehicle to its profile in EZYweigh — no driver interaction required at the entry point.
Boom Gate Control
EZYweigh controls entry and exit boom gates automatically based on transaction status. Gates open only when the system confirms a valid, completed transaction — preventing drive-offs and unauthorised access.
Traffic Light Controllers
Red/green traffic light signals at entry and exit are driven directly by EZYweigh. The exit light turns green automatically once the transaction is finalised and the exit boom gate opens.
Driver Control Kiosk (DCS)
A ruggedised touchscreen kiosk mounted at the weighbridge allows the driver to confirm product type, load details, and transaction information without leaving the cab. Supports virtual keyboard input and integrates with the EZYweigh transaction workflow.
CCTV Transaction Imaging
Top-view and low-view (side) cameras capture a still image of the vehicle at the point of weighing. Each image is automatically linked to the transaction record in EZYweigh — providing a visual audit trail for every load.
RFID & Dallas iButton Readers
RFID transponders and Dallas iButton readers provide an alternative vehicle identification method — ideal for fleet vehicles that operate on a regular schedule. The system reads the tag and pre-populates the transaction automatically.

How the Automated Lane Works
When EZYweigh is paired with the full suite of automation add-ons, the entire weighbridge transaction — from vehicle identification through to exit — is handled automatically. Here is the complete sequence from entry to departure.
Vehicle Approaches
The vehicle enters the weighbridge lane and approaches the entry point. EZYweigh's event-driven engine detects the vehicle via loop detector or axle sensor.
ANPR Plate Recognition
The ANPR camera reads the vehicle's registration plate and instantly matches it to the vehicle profile stored in EZYweigh — retrieving the customer, product, and tare weight automatically.
Entry Boom Gate Opens
Once the vehicle is identified and authorised, EZYweigh signals the entry boom gate to open and the entry traffic light turns green — allowing the vehicle to proceed onto the weighbridge deck.
Vehicle Weighs In
The vehicle drives onto the weighbridge. EZYweigh captures the gross weight in real time from the weighing instrument, regardless of brand or model.
Driver Confirms at Kiosk
The driver interacts with the EZYweigh Driver Control Station (DCS) touchscreen kiosk to confirm product type, load details, and any required information. The transaction is accepted and processed.
CCTV Image Captured
At the moment of transaction acceptance, the top-view and/or low-view CCTV camera captures a still image of the vehicle and load. The image is automatically linked to the transaction record.
Docket Printed
EZYweigh prints the weighbridge docket with all transaction details — weight, product, vehicle, timestamp, and order number. The docket can also be emailed to the customer in real time.
Exit Gate Opens — Vehicle Departs
The exit boom gate opens and the exit traffic light turns green. The vehicle departs the lane. The completed transaction is stored in EZYweigh and synchronised to the central cloud or on-premises server.
